Well, the chorus at the end was in my head so I wrote it to Steve like this...

Always treat me like a lady, never grow to old to call me baby..... and love me like crazy...

And this was his response....

just had to write it in my journal because it made my insides go crazy... and I want something in writing to remind him if he ever gets to ornery:) (He probably won't, but....)

Christmas!!!

Christmas was so wonderful this year! We were so blessed by the generosity of others, going above and beyond. I got everything done and loose ends tied up by December 23rd, which I thought was good, no last minute stuff this year:) And I was dying to give my kids their stuff. I did give them a gift early, and that was a pair of snow boots for all of them. Savannah kept saying how happy she was, and then came to me and said she was about to cry. When I asked her why, she said " because you made me SO happy" I was a puddle at her feet, what an angel.

I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven, for giving us the gift of His Son's life. It is my quest to become more like Him each day, and to create a deeper connection with Him and come to know His true character. I know He lives, my lif e is evidence of that!

Oh my goodness :) So much to tell and I am not sure where to begin. I am normally a really detailed person, however I feel that you don't need all the details, but an update on my life is surely needed.

Mike and I have divorced. Not sure what else to say to that, except that it is for the best and my children and I have been blessed beyond our comprehension. it went really quickly, only 20 days, which is a record as far as I know. As many of you might know, we were separated 3 years ago for a few months. It has been a rough and good experience the last 3 years, but we just weren't ever able to completely repair things and he chose out. That is where all the blessings begin, on the day that I had to really make the choice of what to do, and tell him I was moving forward without looking back, something amazing happened.......

I met Steve :) Only the Lord could have placed this wonderful man in my life. We are like little kids and everything clicks. That first night we talked for 6 hours. (9 pm to 3 am) The next day we talked for 5 hours, and then text all day long, talk on the phone a few times after he gets off of work and then for a couple hours on video chat after the kids are in bed. Yes I still find time to clean my house and take care of kids, lol :)We figured out that after 3 weeks of talking, NOT including text messages and the 2 times we met in person, that we had been on 21 3 hour dates :) Then last weekend he was visiting, and did the math and figured out that everything in 7 weeks added up to be a good 2 year relationship... lol :) He lives in Colorado, so we are SO GRATEFUL for technology! (Kips song I love technology, our song:))

My parents love him, and heard wedding bells the first time we met. And if any of you know my dad, he is usually not that easy to impress, especially by a guy that is dating his daughter. He LOVES and adores my kids, and they love him. Jessa walks around all day asking " Where's Steve?" And when they are with him, they warm up to him, cuddle and play with him and he soaks in every second. They haven't felt so much love in a long time.

SO....... this brings me to something crazy.... we are engaged!!! I know it is crazy, and trust me I have had my doubts :( ( he is SO kind and patient and understanding... seriously he is a guy off of a romance movie/book in real life) However, I have had numerous confirmations by the Spirit that this is right. My mom always tells me, After the trial of your Faith cometh the blessings. I want to share this with you because of how blessed I truly am, and I know it.

We always comment on how this is a fairy tale, which is so amazing.

Fork in the Road

So many thoughts run through my head like thousands of car lights on a highway in the darkest of nights. It is amazing how something can be one thing one day, and another the next. Then you look back and see all of the little signs, wonders and hints that tell you, yes it was coming. And they are all those little things that you think to yourself, if I had paid better attention, then I would have been more prepared, I would have ... I would have .... I would have.

My thoughts and feelings seem so entangled at times that I am not sure what I am feeling or what I am thinking. Confusion sets in and makes you question every move, thought, word, feeling and emotion you expressed.

God lives. He loves us, He loves me. He prepares the way through the thick forest that is our life. Even though we feel blind and unable, we move forward. There may be a scratch from a branch, a log we step over, we might even fall from tripping on the uneven ground. However, the way is still cut out and as we follow it our eyes are opened and we will come to a clearing that is greater beyond our comprehension. This feeling of freedom from chaos around is a support to when we cross that clearing and continue our trek to the next one. As we move through the tight quarters, we can close our eyes and remember the freedom we once felt and the peace knowing that there is a place like that ahead.

I have felt disconnected from the Spirit as of late. My soul longs for that welling up inside when I pray, read my scriptures and move through my day. I am in a thick part of my forest, moving forward and remembering the clearing I was able to be in for a little while. Remembering the feeling of peace that I was doing good; good for me, my family and our relationship with God. I am holding on to the lessons learned from my previous trek, reminding myself to pick up my feet, move forward and let God guide me, not just follow Him.

Savannah came to me a couple days ago and said that her tooth was loose. I couldn't feel it wiggle but I told her to keep working on it. Yesterday she had me feel it again and it is loose!! This is one of those terrifying yet exciting moments where your little one is growing older and you can't do anything about it.

Yes we are alive. Super busy:) Here is a little update -

Savannah is in soccer now, she loves it. Her first game is tomorrow and she is so psyched. Her coach told her she was aggressive and that made her beam.

Dechlin - Crazier everyday. Here is a conversation we had at Savannah's soccer practice:

Me: You can play on the playground while Savannah practices ok?
Dech: Ok...I am going to play with grils, they LOVE me.
Me: Oh they do?
Dech: Yes and they are going to KISS me
and then today he continued to tell us that grils are going to kiss him LOTs. In Michael's words, he thinks he already has game.

Jessa - FIRE kid. She has a major temper and when she is mad, the best thing to do is leave her alone. She especially gets irritated with Michael and will follow him around to yell at him to make sure she is understood. She is also super cute and makes me laugh when she yells. She LOVES to dance and sing. Any form of music she will start with a head bob and then follow with twirling, bouncing and bum shaking.

Michael and I are still doing school and busy with everyday mommy daddy things:)

I was a ding and forgot to take pictures of us opening presents. I got it on video, so that is good:) Savannah and Dechlin got Bunk beds, the were SO very excited. Jessa got a bike and that is all she cared about. Didn't really want to focus on any other gifts. It was a really fun day. I LOVE seeing their faces light up and be so excited. We try to keep it small, and to keep the focus of excitement on giving each other presents and they loved every minute of it.

For Michael's birthday, he got off early in the morning and went to renew his license. He found out that as of the first of January, there is a National database for the DMV. Meaning if your license has a hold on it in another state, it won't be valid here. Well, we totally forgot, but he still has a ticket in Montana from our wreck. That was such a hectic time, and you can't pay after so many days, and it completely slipped our minds. So, he couldn't get his license and we are hoping that we can take care of the ticket without him having to appear in court up there. I guess if we do, it will be a fun visit to some fam :)

So he was frustrated about that and things started to simmer, and we went to eat at Applebee's so he could have some steak. The waitress was dumb. She brought him water instead of Mountain Dew, for our Mozzerella sticks she brought one little cup not even half full of sauce, and his steak was over cooked. Then he couldn't find the debit card and we realized he left it in the ATM machine when he got cash to pay for the license he couldn't renew. Good thing we had the cash though :) I wanted to have people sing to him, but even before I said anything to him about it, he told me I would be in trouble if I did that.

I had been asking him what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday and he never really told me, plus this was a hectic week and with only having one car, we will say I didn't get to the store to get his cake. He says he doesn't care about his birthday, would rather not celebrate it, but that is connected to his "no worth" feelings I believe, and really likes it when I make a big deal about it. The kids were begging for ice cream, but they all have this little cough and Jessa was tired. So he wanted to just go home and forget everything. I wanted to sing to him. Anyway, I had my check book and we needed diapers, so I ran in to Wal-Mart, got him his favorite brownie and some candles and we came home and sang to him and I think the night ended pretty ok :)

This time it was my make up.....thick and greasy.....he wasn't so happy I found him and was washing him...

He was very upset.....this is about halfway through.lots of olive oil, and half a bottle of shampoo(maybe less but it sure seemed like that much)

Trying to clean the evidence. My tub was disgusting and this picture does not do it justice. All in all it took me an hour, yep, an HOUR to clean this boys hair!!!! To all of you with little boys, enjoy and look forward to your moments like these. And to those of you who have older boys, I honor you. To my sister with FIVE of these, you are my hero. The never grow out of it, I guess that is what makes us love them so?

So I probably got everyone excited for new posts(not) and I haven't done anything. So I will take a little bit to play a game of catch up, and if you make it through, imagine a plate of something yummy as a gift:)

Jessa is one and going nuts. She says, " Uh- Ohs" , " HI"(every time she turns a corner or enters a room) " HI Momma" , "ewwww" and "Ouch" Then she jibber jabbers all day, is picking up on hitting me if she is mad, yells at me and plays horses and puppies with Savannah and Dechlin. She will even 'Rear up on her hind legs :)

Dechlin: hmmmmm...what else do you say about a 2 1/2 year old boy besides AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! That is because: 1) I love him so terribly much, 2) he so terribly cute, 3) he can act so terrible. This kid doesn't stop, loves to torture and tease, talks back and is still curious about products in tubes and what it looks like smeared EVERYWHERE ( such as toothpaste, hair gel and concealer) He comes into my bed every night because he needs to " lay down for me" I am now in the process of breaking him of the habit ( happened maybe 3 times actually) of need me to "lay down for him" in his bed before he goes to sleep. So he ends up staying up until 10 because he needs chips, cereal, toys....about 10 times each hour. Thinking about potty training this summer. Yes so he is outside when he has accidents :)

Savannah: How she never ceases to amaze me. This girl is 4 1/2. Could say the alphabet at 2 ( 27 months to be exact) Has taught herself to recognize letters, numbers, the phonics of the letters, how to write and now is teaching herself how to read. All I did was sing her the ABC's a few times a few summers ago:) She loves friends, cousins and animals. Is constantly telling me we need to move because our house is getting old ( it is 5 years old) and because we need 5 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a pig.... and that is where I stop her. No pig. She is excited to go to school next year, thinking she will go to high school. She can't wait to drive, and talks about when she will be a mother.

Michael: Is amazing. Need I say more? He is on day 14 of being a non smoker and is doing really well. He goes to the gym a couple nights a week, watches the kids for me when I go to mutual on Wednesdays and my very much anticipated bunko night :) He is in his second semester of school. Totally aced his first semester and probably will do it again. He is so smart it sometimes makes me irritated, because I am not. He works hard, in downtown right now, so a very much shorter distance than Park City everyday. We see him more and that is awesome. He likes his job, however gets a hankering and looks for others. ( Or I do and show him, because...well that is a different story :) All in all, we are very thankful he has a job:)

Me: What to say.. hehe Well, our 6 year anniversary is on the 20th of Feb, so I am working out a little more intensely. However we are either going to celebrate early or later because I happen to have a wonderful monthly friend coming over on our weekend...bleh. I have started my second course through my herbal school. I love it!! Using this knowledge has kept me and my family out of the doctors and very healthy for 5 1/2 yrs. ( Minus 3 ER visits) I am still the 2nd counslor in Young Women's. It is an amazing experience, challenging, yet amazing. I have created a schedule for home and it is wonderful. I have so much free time and my house stays super clean. And I can be very flexible with it.

So there are pictures to go with some of the things I have posted, and they will come at a later date. No promises :)

I started to smell this awful smell, I thought it was my scentsy going funny, but when I opened the dishwasher this is what I found.....

It had fallen, somehow through the mascarade of dishes and landed on the heating element....

And then when the heated dry time came, that was the end of the poor spoon...........

This is my dear mother-in-law. She was so cute. She is wearing her wedding dress, I thought it was so neat!!
I had so much fun taking my little buddies trick or treating!! I wanted to keep going to houses because I loved hearing Dechlin's deep voice and giggling at him because he wouldn't let people put the candy in his bucket. They had to put it in his hand, I think he was afraid of someone taking his precious bucket. Savannah was so into it, she would yell as loud as she could, even before the people could get the door open. My little Jess had a cold halloween night so she stayed in the car, but she will have so much fun next year!! I just love my family!

Happy half birthday Jessa!! I can't believe how big you are. Rolling all over, sitting, getting toothies.....AAHHHGGG!! I feel as though I just had you yesterday and am sad at how time slipped through my fingers. I love watching you grow and am so excited to see you learn and do new things. This is a something I have wanted to post for a little while. Dechlin got into my lipgloss and squeezed the whole tube all over him and Jessa. I put him in the tub and scrubbed him but it took 2 baths to get all the greasy goopy gunk out of his hair. Gotta love them boys!!

So little Jessa's second tooth is now through. So cute! My issue is this, she has been decent at taking a bottle in the past, not her favorite but she has done it and been good for my mom. Last week my mom was watching her while I was at mutual and she WOULD NOT take a bottle!! I thought maybe becuase her teeth were trying to come through and she hadn't felt good ( poor goopy eyes) But to no avail, she will not take a bottle or her binky anymore. Thats it, she is done and gets mad before it even touches her mouth. I don't know what to do, I have tried a Nuk bottle, no luck, and of course the bottles she used to take, Soothie. (that is the only binky she would take) I really would love for her to take a bottle so that she could stay home with daddy at times as well as let me go to girl's camp!! Any ideas, thoughts, experiences, impressions guidance??? Anything? Please share!! And also pray that she will start again.........(important note: it is always breast milk, no formula)

Some More!

So I receive emails from the Rapid Eye Institute. RET Technicians are able to use the mailing list to send out useful information to everyone approved by the Institute. one came through yesterday talking about a special pricing for Dr. Christopher's Master Herbology courses. 100 dollars for the introductory course and if you continue your education only 130.00 per level!! I was so excited I couldn't take it. so I signed up today and am on my way to fulfilling a dream that started five years ago. So I will be able to assist others more efficiently with information that has saved me and my family more money than I can count! (And we are so much more healthy!!)

I am also so excited because this is what I want my company to be about.....Health in Abundance. Combining herbs, oils, Natural products, RET and Yoga. All of these things reach us on all levels of our being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. My goal is to assist people get rid of the old 'BAGGAGE' and create a life that enables them to be closer to our Father in Heaven and I am getting a fantastic start!!

This may be long, but I hope worth it...........

I think most of you know that I do a small part part time job from home answering emails and so forth. I also havea passion for health and fitness, healing arts such as yoga, essential oils and energy therapies. This is partly what my job entails and I have learned so much from it. I am becoming more involved with the essential oils and my desire to be more educated grows every day. This is not the meat of this post, but I feel an important precursor.

I have been having some experiences, some not so pleasant, impressing upon my mind to quit my job. Financially we would be ok, but have grown accustomed to having this extra income if you know what I mean. I have struggled back and forth on knowing if this is the right thing to do. I talked to Michael and he has been supportive of me. I thought then maybe not completely quitting but to lessen my hours. (I only work maybe 2 hours a day, so I don't think it would make that much difference.)

So I was really struggling, knowing I want to further my education else where and become really involved with opportunities presenting themselves to me. I struggled with knowing how Michael and I would reach certain goals we set but I wanted so much more to have more time with my children. To be able to just hold Jessa, have some one on one time with Savannah and Dechlin. I haven't been able to do that because I am always busy meeting a deadline of some sort, whether it is feeding Jessa, working or cleaning. The only time I took to just sit was when I should have been doing something else and then everything backing up on me.

So after many prayers, and my own thoughts clouding Heavenly Father's response, I asked my dad for a blessing. I talked with my parents for 3 hours before I received the blessing but I received so much from them. They give great counsel, always have. My dad was really concerned about me being depressed, which I have watched myself and fit a lot of the signs, but knew it was only because something needed to go. I wanted to quit my job before Jessa was born, but knew it wasn't right then. I since have received a fantastic calling that does require a bit of time, but is totally worth it.

Anyway, my blessing talked about a number of things and told me to follow my inspirations, to pursue my education and I knew I had to quit. So I made the choice not knowing what was going to lay ahead. It felt good and I knew the Lord loved me and was watching me.

My mom and I went to the gym this morning to a Yoga class. It felt so good to be there, then as we were leaving I was expressing to her my thoughts and feelings about desiring to become a Yoga Instructor. I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and have known the place I wanted to do it for a year and a half.

Well I came home, and kept putting off working, then I finally decided to come in and work but checked my email first. As soon as I logged in, a new email came from It's Yoga Utah (the place I want to go to) The email said FREE yoga teacher training. Contact for details. It hit me so hard, that Heavenly Father was manifesting to me that He does know me and my desires, that I made the right choice in quitting my job, that there are things ahead for me that are great. I don't know if receiving the free training is what His will is for me, but I know He is looking out for me, each one of us. It takes that step of Faith into the dark, but He is always there to show us the way.

I felt such a huge release and just cried my heart was so full of joy and thanksgiving to remember that I am never forgotten, and neither are you.

So my little baby rolled over yesterday!!! From her front to back and it didn't take very long. A few seconds literally. She doesn't get a whole lot of time on the floor due to her big brother sitting or laying on her. So when I put her down she sat there and started leaning. She almost went over right away but it scared her so she corrected herself really fast and then she kind of just threw herself over figuring out that it was how to get off of her stomache. Smarty Pants!! Then she finally ate her first serving of cereal today! I have tried a few times before but she didn't really take to it. And she has been sleeping in her crib for a little over a week. Michael didn't want to put her in right away because we don't have any baby monitors but I finally just did it and she has been great! I can't believe how big she is getting and so fast. I feel that I just had her and she is now 4 1/2 months old. What am I going to do? Just enjoy I guess. I love you so much my little Jessa Face!!

So it has been along while since I have done any "blogging" I have had ideas and thoughts run through my head that I have wanted to post but no time! Imagine that:) But this is something that could not go unposted. Savannah took it upon herself to give herself a haircut. Now it looks kind of scary, but when it is brushed and even curled, it isn't half bad so we will just leave it be!

The pile of hair.......it looks smaller in this picture. Now you may ask how did this happen? Well I attribute it to a night of no sleep with a sick Dechlin. Having a movie on for the kid's and then falling asleep with Dechlin and Jessa. I do give her credit though, she used the hair cut scissors that are kept in the back of my drawer. I mistakenly thought she didn't know they were there. How very wrong I was!

Blasted Sickness!

My little Savannah has had a fever all day today!! aarrrggghhhh! We made it all last winter without anyone having a runny nose for more than 2 days and now it seems 'the sickness' is running my cup over. Her fever spiked twice at 103.5. My poor little peanut, and those of you who know Savannah, multiple naps in a day are not the norm. She had a blessing and is doing better. I told her that while she is sick she can't be by Jessa and that makes her sad. :( I am being a hand washing and sanitizing natzie because I want the rest of us to be healthy. Michael was sick on Sunday, so he doesn't count. Well he does, but you get my point. Anyway, to the rest of you and your health, may we all get over this collective conscious of being sick this time of year and move on!!

It is amazing the way things happen....fast or slow they seem to not be expected, or at least one doesn't accept the expected.

Michael's dad passed away early Thursday morning. I was fortunate enough to have taken Savannah in to see him one last time for a few hours on Wednesday. He greeted Savannah's drawing of him, Michael and her holding hands by flowers and mountains with his signature...hmmmm.

The feelings taht are felt when someone passes, can at times be confusing. I feel peace and awe. The first time I met him, Floyd, he talked to me for 4 hours while Michael sat around watching TV and eating Oreo's. He was a doer, always something. His hobby was doing new things.

I am grateful that he is in a place now that he can be free of pain as well as move freely. I am also glad to know he can be fully aware of his son's love for him, a place where healing can and will occur.

His funeral services are on Wednesday, and will no doubt be an emotional day, but I know that we will see him again someday and be able to hear his words..."Exactly" and "Hmmm"

Mike's Seasoned Heaven

Last night, after being told I had to stay at my parents until I was told I could leave, I receive this text message;

" This is a complimentary text message confirming your reservation at Mike's Seasoned Heaven. Thank you for dining at our fine establishment. And remember to enjoy yourself!"

I was really excited, I told my "host" that I made those reservations in my dreams and he didn't really get it..oh well, I did. So I was told to pull in the "driveway" and wait to be escorted in to the afore mentioned establishement. We walked in and it was dark with Jack Johnson playing softly in the background. There were 2 plates, 2 glasses and a candle on the table. I took my seat and was served a most delicious serving of a Mike original. Chicken, potatoes, greenbeans and rotel tomatoes fried in a Wok to perfection! Then after our meal, we danced in the center of the " dining area" our kitchen.

We were going to go to Cold Stone for desert but I was feeling a bit cold so we decided to go to WalMart and get one of their bakery's brownies (Michael's Favorite) They didn't have any so we found frozen brownie batter, vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. We went to my parents, made the brownies and had an early VDay treat with the kids and grandma and grandpa.

I know it was really simple...but that is my style and totally romantic. I have to say, last night was the best Valentine's day ever for me!

Love you Michael! Thank you for a great night and making me feel so special!

Chocolate and the Gospel

For our new beginnings in YW's we are using the theme of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. So for mutual we watched it with the girls. They don't know why, but we were all watching for ideas and it is so amazing how many things are comparable to the Gospel. I compared each of the rooms and experiences with the 8 values (there are now 8 this year...Virtue is gold) Let me jot my notes for you:

Coat room, waiver, and room with no apparent exit: Faith

" There are surprises around every corner but nothing dangerous" To me these first few experiences were like when we chose to come to earth. We had faith we would be able to stick to the agreements made. We might get nervous and say "there is no way out" and the Lord will reply "are you sure?" And where we least expect it the door opens for us. Nothing is what it seems. As we continue to have faith in him, the hall might seem to narrow but by being believing another door opens into a whole new world of Knowledge.

Chocolate Room: Knowledge

"Come with me into a world of imagination" The Lord invites us to "feast" on His knowledge. Gain an education, "everything is edible". Be careful of what "knowledge" you induldge in as it may make you "sick". Everyone commented on the "dirty river" not knowing it was chocolate. How often do people believe that the gospel and it's rules aren't good for them before they even know what it is?

Boat in the dark Tunnel: Choice and Accountability

Chaos can be and is all around us. We can choose to partake of it, complain about it or enjoy our lfe's journey. Choosing to be happy with ourselves won't take the trials away but will make the outside influences seem lesser and although we may not see or know where we are going, we know we are choosing the Lords path.

Secret Invention Room: Divine Nature

This is where all of Wonka's best kept secrets are kept and the ones he hasn't quite perfected. No one else has them such as our individula talents and qualities. Continue to develop them and share with others.

Bubble Room: Integrity

Although mistakes are made forgiveness is always there. Charlie and his Grandpa reestablished their integrity by being honest at the end and choosing to " keep their feet on the ground from now on"

Golden Eggs: Good Works

There are good eggs and bad eggs. Veruca Salt was a bad egg because she wanted everything for herself and didn't want anyone else to have anything. The Geese were were working hard giving a service without any special compensation. A bad aegg is also service done with only the intent of recieving a reward.

T.V. Room: Individual Worth

Don't allow the world to brake you down into little peices and then leave you smaller than you were originally created. Stand firm in who you are.

Willy Wonka's Office: Virtue

Virtue pretty much sums everything up. If you are virtueous, honest, repentant you receive the greater reward. Charlie knew that he had "forfeited all" by drinking the fizzy drink, and still chose to give up the 10,000 by giving the everlasting gobstopper back. In return he recieved the entire Wonka Factory.we receive our mansions that have been prepared. We Won!!!

Slugworth was of course Satan, tempting us with powers and evils for a small amount of so called happiness to give up our mansions.

I don't know if I am stretching any of this, but it really hit me last night as we were preparing this for our girls. So if you have nothing else to do, watch the movie and see what you might be inspired with!

Gratitude

I have been having so many experiences lately that encourage me to be more grateful for what I have, especially the things I take for granted on a daily basis like my husband and kids. It seems that this same lesson is being taught to more than just myself. I am finding people commenting on it everywhere I go and I believe that it is telling me to stop focusing on the painful things that have transpired and to really live in the now and the happiness I do have and will create.

So thank you to my sweet husband who really does his best everyday to make me happy and is still here through all of my grumpiness.

Thank you to my little kiddies who love me and want to spend time with me anyway, even though I just got done hurting their feelings with my mouth.

And thank you to my Father in Heaven and Brother Jesus Christ for holding my hands and being there for me even when I am not very accepting of their love.

This truely is one of the best times of my life and it is only getting better by the day and I want to enjoy every minute of it!

Hey everyone!

With the New Year and resolutions being made, I have decided that for me I am going to change the way I participate in our Club. Elisa and I talked about it a little and I liked it and made some changes for myself. First read this email I got in my work email:

I’ve felt compelled to share an epiphany that I had the other day. I was in the shower (where a lot of my deep thinking occurs) contemplating the changes that I have gone through and the breakthroughs that I have made in the past year. And I was intending to set a New Years resolution for the coming year.

I recalled that I had always felt that something was missing in my life, but like most of us, I didn’t know what it was. I then reviewed the past year and realized that most of the progress in my spiritual development occurred after I had released and let go of something. It may have been a belief, a past trauma, fear, forgiveness, or anything that was holding me back and keeping me from progressing; from raising my vibration to a higher level of love and understanding.

So my epiphany was that there was never anything missing in my life, but that something had been in the way. And when I let go of whatever it was, I had a clearer remembrance of who I really was – a spiritual being having a physical experience; an aspect of God exploring this physical realm.

It was eye-opening for me as I grasped the concept of remembering – remembering the reason for this journey, rather than searching for that “magic” something that “must be missing”. And I realized that the remembrance has always been within me, but that there was just a lot of junk in the way.

So my anti-New Year’s resolution is to not set a goal to add anything to my life, or try to find what’s missing, but to release whatever is in the way, and to let my inner wisdom flow naturally. And I challenge you to do the same!

Whether you are family, a friend, a client, or someone that has attended one of my Emotional Freedom and Channeling workshops or retreats, I send you my love and best wishes for the New Year. And I encourage each of you to focus on releasing whatever stands in the way of your happiness – because there is nothing missing in your life, but perhaps there is something in the way.

“Embrace the Mystery”

So with that being said, I am going to change my focus on my health and eating. It is going to decrease in a sense. Eating is a lifestyle, and I have heard and believe that if 80 - 90 percent of what you eat is healthy then the other 10 -20 percent doesn't matter. That is how I am going to base my points, and then also my exercising points each day. I am not going to write my food that I ate, but the goals I reached and whether I got my points. My focus will be on the things I am doing for my benefit and increasing them. Not on what I need to avoid.

I am letting go of the thought pattern of everything needing to be 100% healthy or I fail

I am letting go of guilt for eating things that are less healthy for my body.

I am letting go of emotional eating

I am letting go of all the thought patterns that create guilt and feelings of low worth connected to my body and food.

I am letting go of and releasing every pattern of guilt and self sabotage

Here are my food and exercise habits for the month of January:

Good source of Protein in every meal

64 + ounces Water every day

A form of Vegetable with every dinner

Exercise 3 times every week

They say that if you can do something for 21 days, that it becomes a habit. So, my goals for each month will automatically roll over and be continued, I will just earn my points with new habits.

Our little Jessa is Here!! She arrived on December 1, 2008 at 11:42 p.m. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is such a sweetheart and her siblings adore her. We are so excited to finally have her here!!!
